Settings
Configure language, appearance, folders, extraction, performance, retries, proxy, and fallback.
Open Settings from the left sidebar. The desktop app groups related controls so changes are easier to reason about.

General
- App language changes the interface language.
- Appearance follows the system or forces light/dark mode.
Files & Folders
- Download Format controls the default file-name/folder pattern.
- Location sets the default destination used by download confirmations and bulk sessions.
Extraction
- Bulk Retries sets how many times an unstable extraction batch is retried.
- Retry Delay sets the wait between those attempts.
- YouTube Pages and YouTube Max Results limit playlist, channel, and search expansion.
Performance
- Connections controls parallel connections for a download.
- Parallel Downloads controls how many files run at once.
Higher values can use more CPU, memory, network capacity, and server resources. If transfers become unstable or a source throttles requests, lower these values.
Auto-Retry
Enable automatic retries for failed transfers, then set the delay and maximum attempts. This needs an active trial or subscription; retrying an item by hand from Downloads → Queue does not.
Network
- Proxy stores the proxy configuration used by the app.
- Backup Extractor enables fallback extraction when available.
Proxy credentials are sensitive. Do not include them in screenshots or support messages.
The controls above stay visible on a free account rather than being hidden, so this guide matches what you see either way. Free and Pro lists what each plan unlocks.
