The five editors
Video, audio, image, GIF, and PDF editors for working on one file at a time.
Editors is for working on a single file properly, rather than applying one operation to a batch. Pick the editor that matches the file type.

An editor opens with its operations down the right-hand side and the file in the middle. Add a file by dropping it in or choosing Select Files, work through the panels you need, then Apply & Convert.
Editor or tool?
Both reach the same engine, so the choice is about how you want to work.
- An editor keeps one file open while you make several changes and see the result. Reach for it when the answer is "until it looks right".
- A tool from All Tools applies one named operation and can run across a selection. Reach for it when you already know the operation and want it done to everything.
Saving your work
An edit produces a new file rather than overwriting the original, and the result appears under Conversions → Completed with the rest of your output. The source file is left where it was.
