Drafts and unfinished work
Save settings, resume file lists and edits, and relink missing originals without treating a draft as a backup.
Drafts retain unfinished work and stay Free. A draft holds settings and references to original files, not copies of the media. It is local to this device, not synchronized through your UID.
Save and resume
Automatic saving is the default. Settings → Drafts can switch to saving when you press Save draft. The interface shows whether work is saved or has unsaved changes.
Home offers recent drafts and a welcome-back suggestion where applicable. Library's Drafts view lets you browse, resume or remove them. Resume restores the saved worklist or supported editing/flow session, not a newly created media file.
Desktop saves file lists and studio/editor work. Android saves the file list and supported editor or guided-flow work through its mobile workflow. Not every desktop screen has an identical Android draft.
A desktop studio stopped at a daily-limit dialog retains its unfinished work. Saving the draft does not lift the limit that stopped it.
Keep the originals
Do not move or delete a file just because its draft is saved. If an original moved, use Find it where offered. On Android, losing permission to the original can also prevent resume. Pick or authorize the file again if necessary.
A deleted source cannot be restored from a draft. Changing devices with the same UID does not transfer drafts or their originals.
Retention and clearing
The default retention is 30 days. Choose a supported retention period or keep drafts indefinitely in Settings. Options also control bringing back the file list and welcome-back behavior.
Clearing drafts removes saved settings and references, not originals. Successful conversion can remove the draft for work that has actually been queued. Keep originals and exported flow files separately if you need a backup.
