Your first conversion

Open 9xconvert and you can convert straight away — there is nothing to upload and nothing to wait for.

1. Add a file

On Home, drop files onto the panel or choose Select Files. The From URL tab beside it downloads a file from a link first and converts it in the same pass; that one needs a trial or subscription.

2. Review what is staged

Added files are grouped by type, with the count per group. Each row carries its size, current format, output format, and the tools that apply to it.

Select the files you want with their checkboxes. Convert Now runs the selection, not everything in the list.

3. Pick the output format

Choose the format control on the row to open Convert To. Formats are split into video, audio, and GIF tabs, and each carries quality presets.

Choose Apply, then Convert Now. Work appears under Conversions and moves to Completed when it finishes.

Local conversion runs on your device, so there is no upload wait or server file-size limit. After account verification it works offline; From URL, UID verification, and updates require a connection.

Converting a folder

The same flow scales: drop a whole folder, pick the output format, and run the selection. On a free account the daily allowance applies to started conversions, and batch conversion needs a trial or subscription — see Free and Pro.
