Account and UID

Where can I see my UID?

Choose the person icon near the bottom of the left sidebar. The Account dialog shows the UID with Copy and Save as .txt actions. See Your 123sudo UID for the complete flow.

Does the app verify my UID every time?

9xbuddy verifies a saved UID when the app starts and refreshes account status in the background. If it cannot validate the account, it returns you to the account flow with the relevant error or recovery option.

Can 123sudo recover a lost UID?

No. Save it privately and keep a backup. Recover this device's UID only returns the current installation to the account originally created on that device; it cannot retrieve a UID lost everywhere.

How many devices can use one UID?

One on a free account, three on Pro. A second machine on a free account reports a device limit rather than an invalid UID. Open Account → Manage License to see what is currently connected, or follow UID and devices.

What happens when my trial ends?

Creating a UID inside the app starts a 3-day trial. When it ends the account returns to the free limits — nothing is deleted, and files you already downloaded stay where they are. A UID bought on 123sudo.com has no trial; it grants nothing until the payment settles. See Free and Pro.

Downloads

Why do two links show different formats?

9xbuddy lists what the source exposes. One page might provide separate video, audio, image, or subtitle results while another provides only a combined file.

How many downloads do I get on a free account?

Five a day. Pro removes the cap. See Free and Pro.

Can I download many links at once?

Yes. Paste one URL per line or use title, URL on a free account. Importing a CSV/TXT list needs Pro. Review Bulk download for selection, quality, naming, and retry controls.

Can I download an entire playlist or channel?

Paste its URL into the bulk flow. The number of returned items is governed by the source and the YouTube Pages / YouTube Max Results extraction settings.

Can I save only part of a file?

After a file completes, use its edit action to set start and end points. The local source file must still exist.

Can I convert a completed video to MP3?

Use the completed item's conversion action when it is offered. That works on a file you already downloaded; saving a source's audio as its own result at extraction time is a separate Pro feature.

Browser and access

What should I try when a pasted URL fails?

Update 9xbuddy, confirm the page opens normally, then try the built-in browser or browser fallback. If the request legitimately requires account data, add domain-scoped cookies or headers you are authorised to use.

Can headers bypass private or protected content?

No. Headers reproduce an authorised request; they do not grant permissions you do not have and cannot make removed, DRM-protected, or region-unavailable media downloadable.

Does the Android app support YouTube?

Google Play Store policies do not permit YouTube downloading. The Google Play build of 9xbuddy does not support YouTube links; use the desktop app or supported non-Play builds when downloading from YouTube.

Where are my downloads saved?

By default, downloads are saved to your system or device Downloads directory. You can change the destination folder at any time under Settings → Downloads → Location. The quickest way to locate a specific file is Show in folder on its row in the Library. See Files and folders.

What is the difference between History and Downloads?

History lists the pages and links you have extracted. Downloads lists the transfers — running under Queue, finished under Completed. Clearing either list removes the history entry, not the file on disk.

How do I update 9xbuddy?

Desktop builds update themselves and prompt you to restart; Store and Play builds update with your other apps. If a site has stopped working, update before anything else — see Updates and versions.
