FAQ

Answers about plans, offline conversion, editors, storage, flows and updates on desktop and Android.

Account and plan

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in with a 123sudo UID, with no email or password. Save it privately before changing devices or reinstalling. Read Your UID.

How many conversions do I get on a free account?

Five outputs in a rolling 24 hours, up to five files in a normal batch, and one conversion at a time. This is not a midnight reset or a file-import limit. Splits can use several slots; clearing history does not refund completed work. See plans.

On desktop and Android, active conversions reserve Free slots. Failed or canceled conversions release their slots. Completed conversions still count within the rolling 24-hour window even after their history records or output files are deleted. Pro and active trials have no conversion cap.

What happens when my trial ends?

New accounts made inside the app include a three-day trial. On expiry, Free limits return without deleting your settings, flows, drafts, history or converted files. Extra own flows stay usable but read-only beyond the oldest three.

How many devices can use one UID?

One on Free, up to three on Pro. Product licenses remain separate even when a UID identifies you in another 123sudo app. See UID and devices.

Free and unpaid active trials allow one device per UID. Active paid and lifetime licenses allow up to three. Trials still include Pro app features.

Desktop

Why is the desktop app better than web converters?

Local conversion avoids uploading the input to a conversion server and waiting for an upload. It does not guarantee a particular speed: performance depends on the file, codec, filters, storage and device.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Local conversion works offline after account verification, within the current plan. Timed licenses can still expire. Account checks, URL downloads and updates need the network.

Can I convert hundreds of files at once?

Pro removes the plan's conversion and batch limits. Device resources still matter, and raising concurrency can slow individual jobs. Free supports small local batches. CSV/TXT link lists are a separate Pro download workflow, not an import of local file paths.

Mobile

Why is the mobile app better than web converters?

Local files are processed on the Android device, without an upload to a conversion server. Available storage, memory, permissions and supported formats still matter.

Does it work offline?

Local conversion works after verification. URL downloads, account checks and updates need a connection. Offline use does not extend an expired timed license.

Does mobile have the same tools as desktop?

No. Android has its own catalog, storage permissions and touch editors. There is no iOS build, desktop tray or desktop download speed-limit setting. Check the Android guide.

Files and formats

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server upload-size cap. This does not mean unlimited device memory, disk space or support for every file.

What can I work with?

Supported video, audio, image, GIF, PDF, subtitle, document, EPUB and data conversions are available through Explore. Check the input-specific choices on your platform rather than expecting every format pair to preserve all source features.

Can I edit a file rather than just convert it?

Yes. Eight editor kinds cover media, PDFs, subtitles, documents and EPUB. Applying changes to a new local file stays Free within limits on desktop and Android; reworking a finished output is Pro on both platforms.

Where are my converted files saved?

Desktop defaults to Downloads unless Settings or a flow chooses another folder. Android keeps an app output and publishes to its selected destination. Check the desktop folder action or Android Saved to, rather than assuming the current default was used for older results. See Library.

Are flows and drafts synchronized by my UID?

No. They are local to each device. Export and import flows to move them. Drafts reference originals and are not backups. See flows and drafts.

How do I update 9xConvert?

Direct desktop builds offer download and restart controls where supported. Google Play builds use Google Play; direct Android APK builds use the in-app prompt and system installer. Read updates.

Still stuck?

Read troubleshooting. Public guides stay available on Free; in-app support tickets need Pro.
