Troubleshooting

Check conversion limits, source files, output storage, account verification and URL downloads.

Start by checking the installed version and update options. Read the visible error before changing settings. Do not delete app data or create a new UID as a routine troubleshooting step.

The app will not install or open

Windows

Download the appropriate installer from the official page. Check its origin before responding to a security warning. Restart after an installation that could not replace a file in use; do not bypass warnings for unknown downloads.

macOS

Use the correct processor build and move the app into Applications. If macOS blocks it, review the message and the official download before changing Privacy & Security settings. Do not run an unfamiliar package just because it has the same app name.

Linux

For an AppImage, check execution permission and the distribution's requirements. For a Debian package, use the package manager and read its dependency error. Different packages can have different desktop integration.

Android

Use the official Play listing or direct APK. Update and restart the app or device if needed. Preserve the saved UID and original files before any reinstall. Removing app data can lose local drafts and history.

A conversion fails partway

  1. Check free space for the original, output and temporary working files, not just the final output size.
  2. Confirm the source still exists, is readable and opens in another app.
  3. Check write access to the actual destination chosen in Settings or the flow.
  4. Try that file alone, with a common output format and fewer optional filters.
  5. Note the visible reason and whether download, conversion or saving failed.

One failed file does not prove the source is damaged or the app is healthy. An unsupported codec, permission, unavailable folder or insufficient storage can also cause failure.

New conversions stop starting after a few files

Free allows five outputs in a rolling 24 hours and up to five files per normal batch. The app checks before admitting work. This is not a file-import limit or a reset at midnight.

Read the limit dialog's remaining allowance and next available slot. Splits may need several slots. Clearing finished history does not refund them. See plans for conversion limits.

On desktop and Android, active conversions reserve Free slots. Failed or canceled conversions release their slots. Completed conversions still count within the rolling 24-hour window even after their history records or output files are deleted. Pro and active trials have no conversion cap.

Reworking a finished output and URL downloads have separate Pro gates. A trial that ended can expose those gates without deleting your saved work.

UID validation fails

Paste the saved UID without surrounding spaces and check the connection. A temporary network error is not a reason to create another account. Retry verification when online.

A device-limit response requires reviewing registered devices, not replacing the UID with a newly created one. Free has one device slot and Pro up to three. Read UID and devices before switching.

I cannot find the file I converted

Use Library or the Completed filter. On desktop, Show in folder reveals the actual saved path. On Android, inspect Saved to, Open or Share. A flow can choose a different destination from the current default.

An Android folder or SD card may become unavailable. Check the result's reported destination and default storage for a fallback copy. A missing Library row and a missing physical file are different problems.

Remove from Library leaves output files. Move to Trash on desktop or Delete file on Android is a separate destructive action. See Library.

The file is rejected, or the conversion produces nothing

Check that the input is complete and its contents match the claimed extension. Try opening it elsewhere. Close an app holding the file, check output permissions, and choose a supported format pair. Document conversion need not preserve every original layout feature.

Conversion is slower than expected

Speed depends on the device, codec, resolution, filters, memory and storage. Close demanding apps and lower parallel conversions if the whole device slows down. Large compression jobs need working space. Do not assume every operation has a hardware-accelerated path.

On Android, battery restrictions or stopping the app can interrupt background work. Read the failed row rather than assuming restarting resumes the same job.

URL work needs Pro or an active trial and a working connection. Check the exact link, installed version and visible stage. Private, removed, login-required or region-restricted media may remain unavailable.

If you have an authorized local copy, converting it separately can help distinguish link access from format conversion. Read bulk downloads. Do not assume an intermediate download is retained as an accessible backup.

A draft cannot find its original

A draft stores settings and references, not media. If an original moved, use Find it where offered. Restore access to the original or pick it again. Clearing a draft cannot restore a deleted source. Read drafts.

Output quality is not what you expected

Compression trades size against quality. Review output format, bitrate or quality, resolution and filters. A size estimate is approximate; lossy re-encoding can lose detail even when the output is valid.

Nothing here helped

Use in-app support if your plan includes it, or the public support page. Include platform, installed version, input/output formats and the visible error. Keep private files, credentials and UID numbers out of ordinary reports.
