Updates and versions
Check your app version and distinguish desktop, Google Play and direct APK update workflows.
A guide can describe controls missing from an older installed build. Check the version and release notes before assuming the controls are broken. A source change or successful test does not by itself mean a new version is publicly available.
Check your version
Desktop shows the version in the sidebar. Android shows app information under More and Changelog. Quote the actual installed version when reporting a problem, not a version copied from this page.
How updates arrive
- Direct desktop builds: when the updater offers a version, choose to download it. A downloaded update is ready, not installed. Choose the restart/install action when ready; it can also install on a later quit. Finish active work first.
- Store-managed builds: use the store that installed the app. Store availability can differ from direct downloads.
- Google Play on Android: use Play's update controls.
- Direct Android APK: use the app's update prompt or More → Update Available when shown. Closing or minimizing the download sheet does not necessarily discard progress. A completed held APK can be offered for installation later. Installing still requires your tap and Android's installer.
Download the current offered package from the official desktop or Android page if the installed channel does not update automatically. Keep your saved UID. Do not delete app data as a routine update step.
When to update before anything else
Check for updates if a URL stopped resolving, a supported format changed behavior, or a guide no longer matches your screen. A new build can change format support and compatibility, but an update is not a guaranteed fix for every source file or restricted link.
What changed in each build
Read 9xConvert release notes for public changes. Local flows and drafts are not account-synchronized backups; save your originals and export flows before moving devices.
Reporting a problem
Include the operating system, installed version, input and chosen output format, tool or editor, and visible error text. Use a non-private example if a file is needed to reproduce it.
Do not include your UID, credentials or private file paths in a public report. In-app support is Pro, while troubleshooting and these guides remain Free.
