Conversions and the queue

Follow progress, filter conversion history, use queue controls and find finished outputs.

Open Conversions from the desktop sidebar or Android tab bar. The current app uses status filters, not separate Queue and Completed tabs. List and grid views browse the same work.

Queue

Desktop filters include All, Converting, Queued, Failed and Completed. Paused work is included with converting items. Android has All, Converting, Paused, Failed and Completed filters.

Rows show progress when the operation can measure it. Multi-pass jobs and inputs without a readable duration can show a working indicator or changing estimate without being stalled.

Use an individual row's pause, resume, retry or cancel controls where available. These controls stay Free. Read the failure reason before retrying.

Parallel Conversions in Settings controls concurrency. Free runs one conversion at a time even if a higher value is saved. Pro uses your setting. More simultaneous jobs need more memory, CPU and storage bandwidth.

Acting on the whole queue

Pause all, Resume all, Retry all and Cancel all need Pro or an active trial. Actions are unavailable when there is nothing relevant to act on. Canceled work is not failed work, and Retry all is not a promise to restart canceled jobs.

Canceling running work stops it. Removing a running job is not the same as the Undo offered when hiding a finished Library entry.

Completed

Use Completed for finished history, or Library for collections, favorites and drafts. Open, preview or locate results through their actions. Details identify the output and the flow, tool or editor that made it when that information is available.

Reworking a finished result through Edit, Open in editor or Convert again needs Pro. Converting a new local source within the Free allowance is a separate workflow.

The desktop folder action reveals the saved output. On Android, check Saved to and use Share or Open to pass it to another app. A preview cannot restore a missing file.

Batching

Free allows up to five files in a normal batch and five outputs in a rolling 24 hours. The app checks the batch and allowance before admitting work. Splits can consume several output slots. Read plans for conversion limits.

On desktop and Android, active conversions reserve Free slots. Failed or canceled conversions release their slots. Completed conversions still count within the rolling 24-hour window even after their history records or output files are deleted. Pro and active trials have no conversion cap.

Link batches are Pro and use the download workflow.

If a conversion fails

  1. Confirm the source still exists and opens in another app.
  2. Check storage and write access to the actual destination.
  3. Try the file alone with a common output and fewer optional filters.
  4. Note the visible error and read troubleshooting.
