Troubleshooting
Fix missing copies, a missing 9x button and failed captures.
Copies are not saved (Android)
- Open Settings › Permissions and check the accessibility service is on.
- Some phones stop background apps. Allow 9xSnap to run in the background, and turn on Start after phone restarts.
- Check the app is not in Excluded apps.
The 9x button is missing
Turn the accessibility service on, then enable the button in Android's accessibility settings. The floating button is a Pro feature.
A screenshot is blank or blocked
Apps can block screenshots. This is an Android protection.
A recording has no sound
Check the sound option (microphone, device audio or both) and that the app allows audio capture. Some apps do not allow their audio to be recorded.
Desktop: nothing is captured
On macOS allow Screen Recording, and Accessibility for global shortcuts. Copies are saved only while 9xSnap runs in the tray.
